Saturday AM Long run Various Locations - often meet at Grandy's on W. University Avenue, but contact Diane Miller (386-462-2384, dvmiller1@msn.com) since the location sometimes changes.

Between 6 and 15 runners do 8-14 miles at various paces and over different courses.
This group of mostly FTC members does long runs each weekend in preparation for upcoming marathons. But you don't have to be a marathoner to enjoy their company. After running, the group goes out for breakfast.

Lace up your running shoes and visit the scenic Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail. You never know what type of wildlife you will see out there.

10 Miles Millhopper - Millhopper Publix at NW 16th Avenue and NW 43rd Street

These runners do 10 miles at about 8 minutes per mile.
This is a group of low-key, non-competitive runners. This FTC training run has been around for at least 20 years and follows a course that goes downtown past the Hippodrome and through the UF campus. After running, the group often goes to breakfast at the 43rd Street Deli.

This is a low-key run of 3-6 miles through the historic and scenic areas around Florida Park and the Duckpond neighborhoods. All are welcome to join in the fun.

UF Track

Summer: Between 8 and 20 runners do a hilly 4-mile loop at 7:15 to 10 minutes per mile.
Winter: Between 8 and 20 runners do interval training on the UF Track
This is a fun group of mostly FTC members. The course they take is very similar to the Dog Days 5K and Melon Run. After their run, the group usually goes out for pizza or dinner.

3 to 6 Miles Bivens Arm Running Group - start at Bivens North Condos on SW 13th Street

This is a fun running group which includes many people training with the Joints in Motion running group and is open to runners of all ages and abilities. There are a number of running routes possible from this location - both rural and suburban.
