Race Information
This race combines the SunState Federal Credit Union 5K and the Great Gainesville 5K Road Race into one big run. The 5K begins and ends at the Pony Field on Lemerand Drive on the University of Florida campus. The start will be at the corner of Lemerand Drive and Mowry Road and the finish will be in the Pony Field parking lot. To get to the Start/Finish area, take Lemerand Drive north from Archer Road. The Start/Finish is at the first traffic light. There is plenty of parking in the immediate area. The race course circles the Lake Alice area of the UF campus, with views of alligators, the Bat House, and the Baugham Center. It is fairly flat with only one small hill in the first mile. Awards will be given for 1st overall male and female, 1st masters male and female, and top 3 in age groups (1-9, 10-14, 15-19, etc.) for both men and women.

This is a benefit for local Gainesville charities.
