The Florida Track Club (FTC) is a non-profit organization based in Gainesville, Florida and is a member of the Road Runners Club of America and the USA Track and Field Florida Association. Our mission is to build the local running community and act as a social network that supports runners of all ages and abilities. In addition to hosting FTC races, training runs, and socials, we are also experienced in providing racing services to external groups. Our team can meet with you to review your specific needs to offer services that can guide your organization toward hosting a safe, successful, and enjoyable event.
Below are descriptions and pricing for equipment and service packages available for hire. You may also contact us for a custom design package based on your event’s needs. Note that FTC requires at least ten weeks notice to review and accept any service contract. Equipment availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

EQUIPMENT
Mile Marker Race Clock, single-sided
Rental Fee: $150
Deposit: $200 refundable
Description: Super-bright outdoor LEDs with 6” height and 60° viewing angle for maximum visibility by runners at mile marker locations along the race course. The MileMarker features a rugged polyethylene plastic case with carrying handle and built-in controls to start timing or selecting a preset time. Internal batteries provide up to 10 hours of continuous operation on a single charge, with external battery charger/charge indicator, and tripod stand included.
Finish Line Race Clock, double-sided
Rental Fee: $200
Deposit: $200 refundable
Description: Double-sided clock displaying time on both sides appropriate for usage at finish line. Neon-colored numerals are visible for usage in light, but are not self-lit. Does not include the finish line arch or chute as seen in photo. Batteries provide up 10+ hours of continuous operation on a full charge.
Race Timing Machine
Rental Fee: $150
Deposit: $200 refundable
Description: Computerized, precise crystal circuit sports timer records each runner’s finish time with easy, one-push control by operator observing at finish line, with option to input bib number with each time entry. Time records are then sequentially correlated to runner ID according to bibs collected in succession. Stores over 8000 times and associated bib numbers. Includes case and rechargeable battery.

Gatorade Cooler with spigot, 7 gallon
Rental Fee: $10 (does not include drink mix)
Description: Drip-resistant spigot, screw-tight lid. Extra-thick insulation ensures superior thermal retention. Stain and odor resistant, easy-to-clean, in-molded handles.
Plastic folding table
Rental Fee: $10
Description: Folds in half to easily fit in most car trunks or behind front seat. Plastic top is waterproof, table locks into open or closed position. Dimensions: 30 H x 30 W x 72 D, 32 lbs.
Bibs
Purchase Fee: $25/pack of 100
Description: Pre-numbered bibs with detachable tear-strips, includes safety pins.

Description: Includes 2 race clocks (single and double-sided), one Race Timing Machine, three Gatorade coolers, two plastic folding tables, one finish line unit (chute enclosure and finish line arch)

Basic Timing Support

Includes: Full Equipment Package
2 FTC personnel to operate timing machine
Description: FTC personnel will transport equipment to race site and instruct your event staff in performing race timing. FTC personnel will record runners’ finish times by operating the timing machine; your staff will perform essential tasks in race timing including finish line set-up, finish chute management, awards ceremony division finish sorting, and official post-race results tabulation. You must provide a minimum of 7 staff dedicated to finish line tasks.

Fee: $1000
Includes: Full Equipment Package
Minimum of 4 FTC personnel to operate timing machine and manage results tabulation
Description: FTC personnel will transport equipment to race site and instruct your event staff in performing race timing. FTC personnel operate the timing machine, set-up finish line, manage finish chute bib collection, provide awards ceremony division finish results, and tabulate official post-race result times. You must provide 2-4 staff dedicated to simple finish line tasks.
