Newnan's Lake 15K

The Newnan's Lake 15K begins and ends at Earl P. Powers Park (boat ramp) on Newnan's Lake off Hawthorne Road. The course follows flat, fast roads along picturesque Newnan's Lake. The Newnan's Lake 15K is one of the prettiest 15K races in the state, with nearly perfect weather every year. Awards will be given to 1st place male/female, 1st place master's male/female and the top 3 in each age group. This race will feature a high performance moisture-wicking t-shirt for participants - guaranteed for early registrants, but while supplies last for those registering after 1/12/10. The race will start promptly at 8 AM! This is an out and back course which is flat and fast. Expect some great times here. There will be three water stops along the way with some gels too! There will be plenty of post-race refreshments...bagels, bananas, oranges, bars, water and Gatorade so you can re-fuel. Early Registration race packet pickup will be available at Lloyd Clarke Sports from Saturday, 1/16/2010 through Thursday, 1/21/2010. Packet pickup for those registering after 1/12/2010 will be morning of race. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable and that you must be present at day-of-race pre-registration to receive your race shirt. No shirts or awards will be mailed out after the race.
