The Micanopy Half Marathon is USATF-certified (FL99045DL). Awards are given for overall male/female, masters male/female, and three deep in age groups. This year's race features a new style of t-shirt - a technical-fabric hi-performance shirt very similar to Coolmax/UnderArmour! See the picture below for the T-shirt design. Due to limited quantities, race shirts are only guaranteed for pre-registered runners. Also note that the registration fee is non-refundable and that you must be present at day-of-race pre-registration to receive your race shirt. No shirts or awards will be mailed out after the race. The half-marathon is free (excluding t-shirt) for anyone 17 and under - please arrive early and sign up at registration on race morning or send an entry by mail. This race is a perfect warm-up for your fall or winter marathon: Jacksonville, Disney, Tampa, or Gainesville!!

Day of race registration will begin at 7 AM. The Half-Marathon will begin promptly at 8 AM!

There will also be a FREE Kids Fun Run at 8:30 AM!

Please join us for the Tom Walker Memorial Micanopy Half Marathon in downtown Micanopy, Florida - located just 10 miles south of Gainesville on US 441. There are a number of bed-and-breakfasts close to the race staging area.
