The Run for the Pies 5k in Jacksonville, FL on June 10th is quickly approaching! All FTC members are invited to join TeamFTC for a carpool to the race at 4:15 pm from the Publix at 39th and 13th.
If you're a willing driver please have your car gassed up and ready to go! If you're hoping to catch a ride, please make sure to bring $5 gas money and show up at 4:00 pm so we can get a headcount and hit the road by 4:15 pm sharp!
The race director has given us a discount of $5 off the entry fee! The current price is $27 but that price goes up to $30 Tomorrow, June 1st. Use code: ftc17 at checkout. There will be food, drinks and live music after the race and a great team atmosphere at the Jacksonville Landing. The event will feature the Nike Championship 5k at 7:00PM, this will be a fun event for spectators as the course is 5 loops so you get to see lots of action! After the Championship, the open 5k race starts at 7:30 pm and custom designed medals will be given to all finishers, awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each age group and pies will be given out at the finish line to males under 20:00 and females under 24:00.
