The University of Florida campus provides interesting scenery, including Lake
Alice and the UF bathouse. There are a couple of small parking lots next to the
lake. The running surface varies - there are some trails, some sidewalks, and
some bike paths that you can run on. Although the speed limit on campus is 20 mph,
you must still take care to avoid cars and bicycles.
The UF track is open to the public after 6:30 PM on weekdays, and most of the time
on weekends (but only if there is no event scheduled, such as a soccer match or track
meet). A training group meets at the UF track every Tuesday at 6:30 PM to do a
little speed work. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!
