The Running Medicine Clinic
“Dr. Kevin Vincent, Director of the UF Running Medicine Clinic, welcomes runners of all experience levels for care of orthopedic injuries or concerns. As a runner caring for runners, Dr. Vincent offers fast track appointments (265-RUNR (7867)) and comprehensive services. Dr. Vincent presents running related research and clinical topics at national and international conferences. He provides interviews to publications such as Runner’s World on running programming, cross-training, exercise and running related injuries. He is Board Certified in Sports Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. As the Medical Director of the UF Sports Performance Center, Dr. Vincent works with a team of physiologists, therapists and biomechanists to solve complex running issues. His goal is to keep runners running for life!”
The Runner’s Clinic has a new hotline: 352-265-RUNR (7867). A call to that number, will result in a clinic appointment for same day or next day with Dr. Kevin Vincent or Dr. Dan Herman. Both Dr. Vincent and Dr. Herman trained in the Runner’s Clinic at UVa with Dr. Wilder. A runner can also call the main number and ask for the Running Medicine Clinic or Dr. Herman, or Dr. Vincent specifically and they will be scheduled through the hotline. The key is to ask for the Doctors by name or RMC.
